Startup Weekend happend for the first Time in the Middle east this year in 2010 , between 12th - 14th November ... the winning Team was Mimix , a brilliant idea made by Jordanian-Lebanese Team and they also won the Global Startup Battle also for the first time as a team from the middle east ..
in YallaStartup Weekend -Beirut , T-Word won the 4th place .. the decisions were based on some creterias which at that time T-Word Team was not fully aware of them .
However now , T-Word is back entering the Global Startup Battle-WildCard , in attempt to win enough votes to be among the first places ...
i really believe personally that we have huge potential to won it , and would love to share with you our presentations , videos , and where-how to vote...
T-Word Presentation :
4th place after this tiny presentation , we really didn't have time to work on more details in less than 30 hours , we were too much engaged in the technical part of the T-Word :
after the nice productive weekend in Beirut , T-Word was nominated to participate in the Global Startup Battle - Wildcard ... we had to do 90 seconds video to show our product special thanks to Charbel Jamous who was really a big Help in this.

the demo and technical part of T-Word :
at the weekend , we couldn't deliver a mobile application demo as we didn't have platforms to do that , we did the demo Using C# and OCR SDK engine ... now , we after alot of researches , we choosed another SDK for the application and started with preparing T-Word WebServer and Beta Iphone Application , this Diagram might help you figure out how we did it :

we are a team , which never met before 12th November , and became a family with daily skype sessions and discussions after that ... Me from Syria (Developer) Muhammad Al-Fahmaui from Jordan(Developer) , Rana Abou Rjeily from Lebanon(Web Designer) , Huda Serhan from UAE(Business and Legal Advisor) , Joseph Maalouf from Lebanon (Graphic Designer). Charbel Jamous from Lebanon , who was not with us at the weekend , but really showed great help and work .

simply go to this link http://globalstartupbattle.com/wildcard-voting/ , you will be asked to choose your favourite idea , click next , provide your mobile(or any phone number) ..for example : +963944647*** the system will call you to provide you with 4 digits number mine were 9047 (spam checking nothing more) ... enter the digits and your vote will be caounted ... you can repeat at anytime with any other number .

voting has finished and even though T-Words didn't won the wild card however we catched huge attention and this why we are still working on the application and i will be posting all the updates in this blog untill we have T-Words independent collaboration enterbrise (propably wordpress blog) soon.
